Youth Ministry
Welcome to the Turning Point
Youth ministry is the space for the teens in our community to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ, and learn to live out the way of Jesus in their time and culture.
It is our hope that through our Sunday morning and Friday night gatherings, our Youth would be built up in our church community and empowered to be active, thriving members at Knox.
Sundays
Our Middle (7th-8th) and High Schoolers meet weekly on Sunday after worship at the Turning Point room from 11:15-12:15pm. We want to invite young people to start a conversation around questions on faith, life, and what it means to follow Jesus in our church community.
Friday Nights
On Friday nights, we have a time of fun and activities designed to be a place for our youth to invite their friends. We also have a discussion, teaching, or story to provoke thinking and conversation around the relevance and importance of the gospel.
Small Groups
Knox youth are invited to meet in groups with their same-gender peers throughout high school, led by mentoring adults from the congregation. This unique program creates deep investment in our youth and an opportunity to go deep in their emerging faith. At the end of the year, we have a small group retreat that builds on these deep and ongoing relationships.
Mission Trips
Youth can also participate in both local and international mission trips, where they can learn about and participate in the work of ministry organizations that are loving their communities with the gospel.
